Privacy policy.
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, that is a fault in the writing and we would like to know about it.
Last updated: August 20, 2026. If we make a material change we will say so here and, where we hold your email address, tell you directly.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers Phase 3 Payments and the websites we operate, including phase3payments.com. It covers people who visit the site, submit a form, or become customers or partners.
It does not cover how a card network or an issuing bank handles data during a card transaction. Those parties operate under their own rules.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, name, business name, email, phone
- Business details you choose to share, industry, state, approximate card volume, current setup
- Anything you write in a message field
- Documents you send us, such as a processing statement
- Application information if you apply for a merchant account, a partner arrangement, or a job
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log data. IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps
- Analytics data about how the site is used
- Values you enter into the savings estimator, which are stored in your browser session so a form can be pre-filled and are sent to us only if you submit a form
What we do not collect on this website
We do not ask for or store full card numbers, bank account numbers, or Social Security numbers through this website. If you ever receive a message appearing to be from Phase 3 asking you to email those, it is not from us.
3. Why we use it
- To answer you
- To prepare a quote, review a statement, or process an application
- To provide and support the services you buy
- To meet legal, underwriting, and anti-money-laundering obligations
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To send you things you asked to receive
4. Who we share it with
We share information only where it is necessary:
- Sponsor banks, processors, and card networks, to underwrite and operate merchant accounts
- Service providers: hosting, email, analytics, CRM, and similar, under contract
- Professional advisers: accountants and lawyers where required
- Authorities: where the law requires it
- An acquirer. If the business is sold, subject to this policy continuing to apply
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site records first-party page views, click-to-call, and form conversions in the browser so we can see which pages and forms are used. That recording does not set advertising cookies on its own. If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, that service is loaded separately, IP addresses are anonymized, and we ask for consent where the law requires it before setting non-essential cookies. Essential cookies may still be used for the site to work. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
6. How long we keep it
As long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then as long as required by law, which for financial services records is often several years after a relationship ends.
7. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to certain uses, or to receive a copy. Email info@phase3payments.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for asking.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
9. Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
